In order to make a good quality boiler, the craftsman has to be talented but he also has to know the secrets of blacksmithing, tinning, locksmithing, turning, modeling and welding crafts.
The founder of this traditional workshop is Dusan Dj. Mandaric, the famous copper boiler craftsman from Novi Sad, Serbia. Upon his retirement in 1974, the workshop was taken over by his grandson Nenad Lj. Poparic. Continuing with Grandfather’s footsteps, Nenad brings perfection to this craft. Gradually, he introduced his son Igor to his business, transferring the traditional craft to him...
The whole family is involved in the business of the craft workshop KZR Cuprum. Administrative and financial affairs are performed by Marica Poparic, Nenad's wife. When it comes to marketing the products to a foreign market, the correspondence with clients is mainly done by the daughter Tamara Poparic.
This copper boiler workshop, with a tradition of 72 years produces not only copper boilers for spirit distillation with capacity from 20 to 600 liters exclusivelly by hand, but also copper pots for household and catering industry, different home decorations made from copper as well as noble metals and souvenirs.
